There is nothing more precious and beautiful than the journey of motherhood. As we celebrate and cherish the experience of pregnancy, it is important to capture these special moments to be cherished forever. That’s why I am excited to share with you a spotlight on a one-of-a-kind maternity session that captures the essence of motherhood in a luxurious and unique way.

The Maternity Gown: As we all know, maternity gowns are an essential part of any maternity photo shoot. But this session takes it to a whole new level with a few stunning and elegant gowns that perfectly showcases the beauty of the soon-to-be mom. They are a perfect blend of comfort and luxury, making the expectant mother feel like a true goddess.

Window Light & Studio Light: The beauty of natural light is unmatched in any photoshoot. And this maternity session makes the best use of it with the help of a gorgeous window light. It also creates a warm and intimate ambiance, making each moment captured even more special. We also incorporated some lovely studio light on a dark thunder grey backdrop for a moody and classic look.

Hair, Makeup, and Glowing Mom: A professional hair and makeup artist can truly transform any photoshoot, and this session is proof of that. The glowing soon-to-be mom is pampered with a luxurious hair and makeup session, highlighting her natural beauty and radiance. From flawless makeup to perfectly styled hair, she looks like a true queen. And let’s not forget, the glowing mom herself is a unique feature of this session.

Kristin Milito

Kristin Milito is an internationally recognized, multiple award-winning portrait photographer based in Chicago, specializing in newborn, maternity, and family photography. With over a decade of experience and a background in early childhood education, Kristin brings a unique perspective to her work, combining her understanding of child development with her artistic vision.

As the founder of Kristin Milito Photography, she has established herself as one of Chicago's premier newborn and maternity photographers, serving clients throughout Chicago's North Shore and as far as western Michigan and northern Indiana. Her photography style has been described as instinctive, poignant, and natural, with a signature approach that captures the ethereal beauty of pregnancy and the precious first moments of newborn life.

Kristin is a proud member of the National Association of Portrait and Child Photographers (NAPCP), where she is recognized as a leading Chicago newborn and family photographer. Her work has been featured in multiple publications, and she has been photographing children since 2007. Before pursuing photography full-time, Kristin taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade, earning her Master's degree in Elementary Education.
